LISTEN: A previously unreleased recording of Led Zeppelin’s June 21, 1977 show

A previously unreleased recording of Led Zeppelin’s June 21, 1977 show at the LA Forum in Los Angeles has been uploaded to YouTube.

The recording, which can be listened to in full below, was made using “a small hand held recorder,” according to the YouTube user who uploaded the audio.

The new recording includes the Seattle version of “Moby Dick” due to a mistake by the uploader. “I screwed up and substituted the Seattle version of Moby Dick from the Seattle show,” they said. “Unfortunately the only version that I have of Moby Dick from that the 6/21 show is on my original tape which I have no way of playing.”

The June 21, 1977 show was the source for one of the best-known Led Zeppelin bootlegs: “Listen To This Eddie” which was made from Mike Millard’s recording of the show.
