A previously unheard recording of Led Zeppelin performing “Since I’ve Been Loving You” on April 12, 1970 in Bloomington, Minnesota was published online.

The snippet is the second song to emerge from the show, and was published by Mark McFall following his interview with the song’s taper Michael Gillespie on his Zepfan podcast. You can listen to that episode on Spotify here and on Apple Podcasts here.

The song, which lasts for more than 7 and a half minutes, is from a different source than the other snippet of the concert which previously emerged. That inferior source has so far only yielded a recording of “Bring It On Home” from the show.

If a tape of Led Zeppelin performing in Bloomington is sounding familiar to you, that’s likely because a recording of the band’s January 18, 1975 performance in Bloomington, Minnesota was published online in April by the Dogs Of Doom group.

That audience recording came after parts of a soundboard tape of the same 1975 Bloomington show emerged online in February 2021.

The audience tape, recorded by Don R and released by the Dogs of Doom group, misses out “In My Time Of Dying” and the encore songs “Whole Lotta Love” and “Black Dog”.
