Jimmy Page said that he will ‘definitely’ write an autobiography

Jimmy Page has said that he will “definitely” write an autobiography in the future.

He told Uncut Magazine in its new November 2019 cover story that he’s keen to write his own book.

“I will definitely do an autobiography,” he said. “Every six months brings new things for me to write about or comment about. I have a number of ways I plan to approach it. But I am determined that I’ll write it first and then go to a publisher, because I don’t want to be held to a deadline.”

Page has previously spoken about the possibility of writing an autobiography. He told Channel 4 News in 2015 that “what I would do is do a book to be published posthumously.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Page said that he will release “something next year. But before that, there’s a project that will be announced later this year; it’s not necessarily musical.”

  2. I think that settles the talk about Jimmy doing any new music. It’s over. – Never going to see this decade long promised solo lp or any new music for that matter. He’s going to be writing his book. Such a shame he wasted the past 19 years. I mean I love the 2007 Celebration Day but that is all he’s done sine 2000. What a shame. So much he could have done musically beside remaster Zeppelin. Get out there with Jeff Beck, Paul Rodgers, just to name a few. Sad, would like to have heard this album he supposedly had been doing
