Previously unseen photographs of Led Zeppelin performing in Boston on July 20, 1973 were published online for the first time.
The photographes were taken by Joe Maloney and published by KRW_CO, who has been uploading new transfers of Maloney’s audio recordings of Led Zeppelin shows along with his images.
According to LedZepFilm, Maloney’s photos are the first confirmed images to emerge from this Led Zeppelin performance. Their publication means the existing photographs that had been assumed to show the July 20, 1973 Boston show are likely to instead show the following night’s concert in Providence.
KRW_CO kindly allowed LedZepNews to publish the above and below images that were taken by Maloney.
All of the photos are available to see in the below YouTube video, which includes a soundtrack of Maloney’s audio recording of the show:
The publication of the images of Led Zeppelin’s Boston 1973 performance follow the emergence in April of similarly unseen photographs also taken by Maloney of Led Zeppelin’s September 9, 1970 and September 7, 1971 Boston shows.
