Headley Grange was not damaged in a fire

Headley Grange was not damaged in a fire this week, despite a BBC News article falsely reporting it was.

BBC News published an article on November 27 which reported that “Surrey Fire & Rescue said it was called to Headley Grange, Headley Hall, near Epsom, at about 10:30 GMT on Wednesday.”

However, LedZepNews has confirmed that the blaze actually took place at Headley Grove in Surrey, a completely different property to Headley Grange in Hampshire where Led Zeppelin wrote and recorded some of the band’s best-known songs.

A spokesperson for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service confirmed to LedZepNews on November 28 that the BBC News article was incorrect and the fire took place at Headley Grove, not Headley Grange

Social media posts published by the fire service show the fire affected a building that on first glance appears similar to Headley Grange but is in fact a separate property in a different county of England.
