The release of “Becoming Led Zeppelin” caused a 16% increase in streams of Led Zeppelin’s music during 2025, new data shows.
Luminate’s new 2025 Year-End Music Report shows that “Becoming Led Zeppelin” was the most-watched music documentary in 2025, with 550.6 million minutes watched during the year.
According to Luminate, the film caused Led Zeppelin’s streams to rise to a baseline average of 38 million streams per week during 2025, a 16% rise over the previous year.

The data shows that “Becoming Led Zeppelin” caused a sustained rise in interest in Led Zeppelin’s music beyond the period that immediately followed the film’s release.
Luminate’s latest report covers the period from January 3, 2025 to January 1, 2026, comparing it to the previous period lasting from January 5, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
In July, LedZepNews reported that Luminate’s 2025 Midyear Music Report indicated that the film caused a 23% increase in streams of Led Zeppelin’s music.
The film’s initial release drove Led Zeppelin’s streaming numbers to their highest-ever weekly peak of 40.4 million streams for the week ending February 27, that report showed.

During the period covered in the mid-year report, the baseline average weekly streams for Led Zeppelin’s catalogue was 39 million streams per week. That dropped slightly in the second half of the year to average 38 million streams per week, the latest data shows.
Led Zeppelin’s streaming uplift came despite the band’s decision not to promote “Becoming Led Zeppelin” through interviews or online posts about the film’s release. However, the band did release a four-track live EP titled Live E.P. on September 12.
