LedZepNews has published 26 previously unseen photographs of Led Zeppelin performing at Madison Square Garden in New York on June 13, 1977.
The photographs were jointly purchased on eBay by LedZepFilm and LedZepNews earlier this month in order to release them online for fans to enjoy.
You can view all of the photographs in this Flickr album which is also embedded below. Click the left and right arrows to move through the photos:
The identity of the photographer who took the images is unknown. The seller of the photographs claimed to have bought them in an auction for the contents of a New York storage unit around 10 years ago.
It’s possible that the photographer behind the images was Japanese. A Berkey Film Processing envelope that contained the prints had handwritten Japanese text on it.

How I wish I was there.
My very 1st Concert was Iton Butterfly @ the Filmore East. The warm u Band just happened to be the then unknown Led Zeppelin. They blew Iron Butterfly away . I also saw them during their 3 nite stand @ MSG ORCHESTRA SEATS, which turn out to be in the Making of LED Zeppelin. An Amazing Band @ their Peek.
When they came to stevenage ie Knebworth, and after just watching the film at the cinema, the song remains the same and knowing they were here in my very own town, was like waking up as a kid to a white covering
of snow, nothing but excitement ,i was 19yrs old, hearing John on a darkened stage Tap the kit making sure everything was active ie drum mics etc,the stage burst into light and there they were John, Robert, Jimmy, and John, an amazing weekend
never forgotten,

I am 63 years old and should have seen Zeppelin at Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati Ohio in 1975, the night they were banned from playing Cincinnati ever again, unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend that show, the biggest regret of my entire life!!! The greatest Band of all time!!!!
1977 Tampa Florida. The rain came down after 45 minutes, it was 45 minutes ill never forget. I have seen jason Bonhan’s led zeppelin experience every time they come to Atlanta and they are as close as we will ever get to the real thing. Best Band Ever!!
