Previously unseen photographs of Led Zeppelin taken by the late photographer Ron Raffaelli are featured in the upcoming documentary film “Becoming Led Zeppelin”.
Reddit user im_eddie_snowden photographed a freestanding advertisement for “Becoming Led Zeppelin” in the lobby of the AMC Liberty Tree Mall 20 in Danvers, Massachusetts which refers to “exclusive photographs” by Raffaelli that appear in the film.
Scanning the QR shown on the advert beneath the “purchase photos” text takes you to this website run by Raffaelli’s estate.
It appears the website will soon begin selling prints of previously unseen photographs of Led Zeppelin that were used in “Becoming Led Zeppelin”.
The website says its online store is “coming soon” before explaining: “Check back soon to buy never-before-seen photos from our online store from the Ron Raffaelli archive.”
Several unseen photographs of Led Zeppelin taken in 1969 were featured at the 36 second mark in the trailer for “Becoming Led Zeppelin” released on December 5:
The photos, taken during a studio session with the band, appear to be outtakes from the session that have not previously been published.
A contact sheet from the same shoot was published in Led Zeppelin’s 2018 book “Led Zeppelin By Led Zeppelin”, but it didn’t show those specific shots.
I’ve heard that the February 5th IMAX premiere in Chicago is completely sold out idk about the February 6th, and 7th showings
