Hours after announcing the upcoming release of a replica of the “Trampled Underfoot” promotional single, Led Zeppelin deleted the announcement from its website along with all social media posts about it.
At 3pm UK time on September 22, Led Zeppelin published a news post on its website announcing that the replica promotional single would be released for Record Store Day on November 28.
The announcement was promoted on Led Zeppelin’s official Facebook and X accounts. A thread about the announcement was also posted on the band’s forum by its administrator.
However, hours after the announcement was made, all traces of it have been deleted by Led Zeppelin. The website announcement post was taken down along with the social media posts and the forum thread.

Led Zeppelin’s bungled single announcement recalls the band’s 2021 announcement that it would re-issue the Japanese 7″ single of “Immigrant Song”. The re-issue of that single was cancelled a day before it was due to be released.
Deletions are way more than additions for years now.
Wonder who holds the power? Bonham and Grant don’t, can’t see JPJ standing in the way, Page obviously wanted to forge ahead full force.
Did I miss anyone?
Didn’t Robert sell his interest to Jimmy ?
