Photos sent to LedZepNews show Robert Plant and former AC/DC singer Brian Johnson filming an upcoming episode of Johnson’s new TV show “Brian Johnson’s A Life On The Road.”
One photo shared with LedZepNews by Alexandra Burton shows Plant with his dog and Johnson.
Another photo shows Burton’s cousin taking a selfie with Plant during a break in filming.
Delyth Thompson commented on Facebook that the photographs appear to have been taken at Castell y Bere and Craig y Deryn in Wales.
Another LedZepNews reader, Mark Williams, posted a comment on this site yesterday with what he claims is information about Plant and Johnson filming another part of the upcoming episode. Here’s Williams’ full comment:
Thanks Dave. Just in case you & the readers were not aware, Robert was interviewed a few days back (on Borth beach,West Wales) by Brian Robertson [sic] (AC/DC lead singer) for Brian’s new ‘ Life on the Road’ interview series being broadcast on Sky Arts. You’ll be glad to hear the sword out of ‘ The Song Remains the Same’ (that Robert wielded back in the day) makes a re-appearance !
Ths interview really is something to look forward to ( more than hoping for 2018 Zeppelin action) !
The page on Sky Arts’ website for Johnson’s series describes it like this:
One of rock music’s iconic and tour-hardened frontmen, Brian Johnson, gives us a brand new and exclusive take on one aspect of the rock and roll life: live performance, touring and being ‘on the road’.
Plant’s episode of “Brian Johnson’s A Life On The Road” is scheduled to air on Sky Arts on June 2 at 9 pm UK time. Find out more about the show here.
I have all the information on the above article, as I have studied Led Zeppelin s history of mid wales, in the 1970 s so any information get in touch…………
it was Aberdovey, that Plant was on a boat, flying the welsh flag not Borth. In the film TSRTS>
The sword that is talked about and that is mentioned here, came from an old Mansion the other side of Machynlleth, it was on show for awhile in Machynlleth, and I was given a beautiful picture of it, it has since gone back to its home because of its value.
