A 1965 Aston Martin DB5 that was previously owned by Robert Plant is up for sale at London Aston Martin specialists Nicholas Mee & Co.
Nicholas Mee & Co, which kindly allowed LedZepNews to publish the photos below, said on its website that the car has had three previous owners, including Plant.
The car has a four litre engine and has done 62,400 miles. It has a manual transmission gearbox, tan interior, and the exterior paint colour is Dubonnet Rosso.
The car has the chassis number 1744/R and was purchased by Plant in the early seventies. Plant owned the car until the summer of 1986, when he sold it to father and son collectors in the West Midlands.
After the sale, the car was passed to Aston Martin agents Chapman Spooner to be restored. The car was exhibited at Aston Martin events in the eighties. The car was bought in 2008 and remained in private ownership until now.
No price is publicly listed for the car, but other 1965 Aston Martin DB5 sell for around £800,000.
Nicholas Mee & Co also published two photographs of Plant with the car:
