A Led Zeppelin soundboard recording from 1971 is being released

Update: Following publication of this article, fans who have listened to this release have claimed that the new songs are actually from Led Zeppelin’s April 1, 1971 BBC performance instead.

A new bootleg release includes a previously unheard partial soundboard recording of Led Zeppelin’s September 4, 1971 performance in Toronto, Canada.

The show has previously been available as two different audience recordings and another partial soundboard recording of a different section.

The new soundboard recording will be released on the new bootleg album “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on the Wendy label.

The new bootleg will include four new songs from the new soundboard source: “Immigrant Song,” “Heartbreaker,” “Black Dog” and “Dazed And Confused.”
