A previously unheard recording of Led Zeppelin’s November 7, 1969 performance at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco emerged online on March 13.

The audience recording, a more complete source than the existing tape from the show, was released by the Dogs of Doom group.

The new tape is the first known recorded live performance of “Bring It On Home.”

You can listen to the full recording below:

The Dogs of Doom group has released a number of previously unheard Led Zeppelin-related material in recent months, including a recording of Led Zeppelin’s July 5, 1969 performance at the Atlanta International Pop Festival and photographs of the band performing in Los Angeles on June 22, 1977.

Sorry for my curiosity Stephen but when (day, month, year) and where (city, hall) did you saw NEW YARDBIRDS in concert (I suppose early fall 1968) ? Thanks for your memories !

  3. I remember seeing things about Led Zeppelin in 1977 but I’m far too young to have seen the shows live. The closest to live was listening to 4 symbols on vinyl on my much older brothers (me 3 him 16) record player.

    Fantastic!!

  5. If only Jimmy page would really start hitting up the zepp archives with modern technology to release some concert material that will never see the light of day, their early shows had all the energy, but so many recordings were done pretty poorly and bootleggers that throw out garbage recordings should be nuetered.

  6. I remember seeing Led Zeppelin in 1976. We waiting in line 26 hours to purchase tickets. We were sitting in the third row. Best concert ever.

  7. They suck live.

I was at that show Nov 9th 1969 at Winterland Ballroom. Only time I saw Led Zeppelin.

Looking forward to a CD silver release.

  9. Never had the privileged to see them Live, was to young at the time. In 1969, I was 8 years old. Wished, I could of been older. But, that’s Life ! Thank you,. Sincerely,

Seriously, they never sucked live, whoever made that comment must be young. My favorite band when I was young and still is!!! I once caught my son playing on someone’s drums, I told him when he could play Moby Dick, I would buy him drums. He did it, so I bought him drums, he currently is playing in a cover band as well as being an RN

  13. I remember seeing lz 3 times in one week when touring so cal. San Diego sports arena, two days later at the Anaheim convention center, then lastly at the fabulous forum. My head is still ringing lol

Sorry for my curiosity but LED ZEPPELIN played only once in Anaheim 9 August 1969, and in San Diego Sports Arena first time 10 August 1969. Anyway no gigs at Los Angeles Forum in August 1969. Perhaps you saw LED ZEPPELIN in California September 1970 (2 Oakland, 3 San Diego, 4 Los Angeles) ? Thanks again for your memories and sorry for my question

  14. Saw Zep at Memphis in April ’70, They knocked us all out when they performed Chuck Berry’s “Memphis * – cost me a whole $3.50 & is the best $3.50 I ever spent

  15. Saw the boys 5 X , however I only realized how good
John Paul was until I heard this concert. He was given a fuller reign to explore riffs, as opposed to later concerts. Cheers all . Just blood curdling.

A sad moment when John Bonzo Bonham passed. His,son can’t replace him and he is as good as his daddy. LZ is and always will be the greatest band ever.

to george led zepplin didnt perform live in 1976

  19. Seen led zeppelin 3 times in St. Louis 73,75,77 still my favorite band ever.

  20. I was 14, in 1973, when I mailed away for Led Zeppelin tickets at the Los Angeles Forum, and received them back, in good order, for Monday, May 30, 1977, Memorial Day. They were on the floor, and 7th row center, at that. Then, two days before to the show, on Saturday afternoon, the tragedy, of tragedies, struck our family, as our dear father, a Nuclear Physicist, was working a rare Saturday Afternoon shift when he suffered a massive coronary, and pronounced DOA. Obviously dropping a Led Zepplin concert completely out of my thoughts… But, this didn’t sit well with Jimmy. So, he kindly felt obliged to suffer a brief hand injury, necessitating a 4 day postponement of the show, and on June 3rd 1973, when they brought house down, with Dad safely along as my stowaway, we were there to experience it. THANKS JIMMY!
