Robert Plant and Alison Krauss spoke to Time magazine to promote their new album “Raise The Roof,” with Plant giving an insightful answer when asked what he learned about himself from culling through decades of his own music.
“I don’t know,” Plant said, “it’s an ongoing question. I’ve been flamboyant, ridiculous, sometimes self-deprecating. Most times, I should shut the fuck up a bit more and let other people surmise. I haven’t learned anything, really, except for everything.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Plant was told that Led Zeppelin has joined TikTok, something he seems baffled by.
“What did you say at the beginning, Led Zeppelin what?” Plant said. The interviewer repeated that Led Zeppelin had created an official TikTok profile. “Well, thanks for telling me,” Plant replied.
And as for hopes of “Raise The Roof,” Plant’s second album with Krauss, bringing in Grammy awards like their first album did, Plant wasn’t sure.
“The Grammys? I don’t know about that. I’ll have to buy some new clothes,” he said.
The full interview with Plant and Krauss is available to read in the November 22, 2021 issue of Time magazine.

Like brick and mortar retail stores of the majestic 20th century, nothing in the 21st Century will ever come close to the level of human impact like a new store or a recorded music product of the early days in evolutionary history. Just like the way younger generations are moving toward non binary id’s, so is the wind no longer carrying anything powerful on the whispering wind.
