LedZepNews can reveal this previously unseen photo of Led Zeppelin performing at the Richfield Coliseum in Ohio on January 24, 1975.
The photo is part of a series of 12 images taken by concert attendee Helen Sinko and then donated to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame archives in 2016.
The publication of this photo follows the reveal of a previously unseen video from the same show that we published along with LedZepFilm yesterday.
Sinko’s collection of photographs show Led Zeppelin on stage, including similar close-up images solely of Robert Plant and also Jimmy Page. John Bonham can be seen in some of the images. Only the headstock and neck of John Paul Jones’ bass guitar is visible in some photos. Two of the images were of little value and only depicted smoke in the air and the very top of Plant’s head, according to an archivist.
LedZepNews paid a reproduction fee of $95 to publish the image in this article. LedZepFilm kindly supported this effort by donating half of the $95 publication fee. We also paid a separate fee of $50 to gain access to digital copies of 10 of Sinko’s concert photos.
Here’s the full uncropped version of the photo:
