2024 was the first calendar year with no public activity or official announcements from Led Zeppelin since 2004, an analysis by LedZepNews has found.
The band’s official website and social media channels were silent throughout the entirety of 2024, a rarity for Led Zeppelin in recent years.
The last time the band went a full year without any public activity was 2004, we found. Every year between 2005 and 2023, Led Zeppelin did something publicly, whether it was a website news post, a joint band interview or statement, or just posting a social media update.
The last time Led Zeppelin announced anything was September 13, 2023 when the band announced a reissue of its fourth album on transparent vinyl as part of Atlantic Records’ 75th anniversary celebration.
The band uploaded a new Facebook cover photo on December 5, 2023, which was the last public activity by Led Zeppelin.
A review of posts published to Led Zeppelin’s official Facebook page found that the band has posted at least once every year since its establishment in 2011, but stopped posting in 2024.

Led Zeppelin posted six times on its official Facebook page throughout 2023, sharing the fourth album reissue announcement as well as posts celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of Houses of the Holy.
The band’s social media pages across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok did not post during 2024. Led Zeppelin has not shared the news of the upcoming release of the authorised documentary film “Becoming Led Zeppelin” which is due to open in the US and the UK on February 7.

silence speaks louder than words
Well 2025 will be busy year in the Led Zeppelin camp. Becoming Led Zeppelin and the 50th anniversary of Physical Graffiti keeping us Zep Heads entertained. 🤘🤘
Nothing to worry about, It’s next year. Jimmy’s next year solo project is now due
I’ve learned it’s not what you say it’s what you convey… meeting of the minds.
That is because the announcement this year is going to be bigger than all those years combined, Save and put away at least $2000.00 per seat
Jimmy Page was the produce4,creator and director of Zeppelin. He was also the main song writer to Stairway. Plant refuses to sing with him. However, if not for James Patrick Page , I wonder if he would be so famous. James was the genius of the band, also JPJ and Bonham was a power house
JPP was the heart of LZ.
Love that man ❤️🔥
This means they will reform this year.
Sadly, the time has passed.
Love these guys always have.

What about a few weeks ago, it may not have been LED zeppelin.com but it’s been all over social media and Instagram ads about becoming Led Zeppelin,it is pretty big news
I Really hope plant n page the fans of Detroit are hoping a 2025 Tour
Really? The time has passed. We may never see Jimmy perform on stage again.
I will go see Becoming Led Zeppelin but having seen them in 1975 I can see why they don’t want to reunite.
This summer I saw Robert Plant at Edmonton Folk Music Festival in Edmonton, Alberta , Canada. He was with Allison Krause, and an amazing band and they closed the festival Sunday night. Did for re- arranged versions of Zeppelin classics. For me he keeps the music alive and his solo music is prolific and of such high quality.
Feb 16th 1972. Subiaco oval, Perth in Western Australia. I was exactly 21 years six months old. Best of the 40 plus concerts I’ve ever seen since my first one, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee in 1965. Includes Dylan’s 1966 world tour with the Hawkes ( Band.)
It must be time for Jimmy to remaster the latest remasters, unless he’s too busy producing his girlfriend’s latest poetry. Maybe he can find some more Chris Farlowe songs to work on.
