Here’s who attended the Hollywood premiere of ‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’

The members of Led Zeppelin were not photographed in attendance at the Hollywood red carpet premiere of “Becoming Led Zeppelin” on January 27, despite the film being an authorised documentary created with their input.

The premiere did attract famous faces including actor J. K. Simmons, KISS frontman Paul Stanley and brothers Chris and Rich Robinson from The Black Crowes.

However, no surviving members of Led Zeppelin or Jason Bonham were seen attending the event, the first high profile premiere screening of the film since the 2021 Venice film festival of “Becoming Led Zeppelin” that Jimmy Page attended.

It’s unclear whether surviving band members participated in a Q&A session to promote the film, as claimed by Premiering Now.

According to the site, “one of the evening’s standout moments was the special Q&A session featuring the filmmakers and surviving members of Led Zeppelin.”

However, Premiering Now uses suspiciously similar wording for many of its articles about film premieres, suggesting it may have been generated using artificial intelligence.

Led Zeppelin’s decision to snub the premiere’s red carpet comes after the band ignored the December announcement of the film’s release, with no band promotion for the film’s release taking place so far. The band’s official website and social media channels have been silent since 2023.

All three surviving members of Led Zeppelin provided statements for the announcement of “Becoming Led Zeppelin” in 2019, but the group’s promotional activities have since been scaled back. Only Page attended the 2021 film festival premiere, despite a wish by the filmmakers for all three men to attend the event.

Jason Bonham’s son Jager Henry Bonham attended the January 27 premiere and was interviewed on the red carpet.

Michael Des Barres, whose band Detective was signed to Led Zeppelin’s Swan Song record label, attended the premiere and posed for photographs on the red carpet.

Stanley, a friend of Page, also attended the event.

  1. didnt look very good did it the bands first authorised documentry and a no show from page plant and jones maybe page didnot what to go as he was the lone wolf at the last premier back in september 2021 it seens obvious that these three dont have a lot to do with each other anymore unlike paul and ringo who were happy to attend the showing of peter jacksons get back and the beatles 64 looking happy with there partners and still friends after all they have been through

  2. Led Zeppelin news needs to research why no one from Zep attended or have made no comment. Did something happen to make them displeased? Going to the premier in NYC Feb 5th. Can’t wait.

  3. Robert Plant, page, John, John Paul Jones were put together by selling their souls to Satan, if that’s true, then Satan is a cool 😎 devil.

  4. Anything the mighty Led Zeppelin is involved with automatically becomes cooler than everything else on this planet!*
    * Except for maybe Miles Davis😁
