“Becoming Led Zeppelin” will be released on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan on March 25, it has been announced.

The film will be available in several editions in Japan, including a box set that will be limited to 3,000 copies that will contain a T-shirt and a set of 16 postcards.

The release of “Becoming Led Zeppelin” on Blu-ray in Japan will include six minutes of bonus footage, comprising the film’s Japanese trailer and an interview with director Bernard MacMahon.

Other versions of the film’s release in Japan include a 4K UHD and Blu-ray set and a Blu-ray and DVD set.

Exclusive pre-order bonuses have also been announced for multiple retailers in Japan:

• Amazon Japan pre-orders of the limited edition box set: A set of five bromides
• Amazon Japan pre-orders of the 4K UHD and Blu-ray set: A set of three bromides
• Amazon Japan pre-orders of the Blu-ray and DVD set: One bromide
• HMV: An A4 clear file
• Tower Records: Stickers
• Movie Can: A CD jacket-style leaflet and a record-shaped fan (the same items given to people in Japan who saw the film in cinemas)
• Rakuten Books pre-orders of the limited edition box set: An A5 Chara Fine Graph with serial number
• Rakuten Books pre-orders of the 4K UHD and Blu-ray set or the Blu-ray and DVD set: A ticket holder

There is no indication that the restored footage of Led Zeppelin performing “Dazed And Confused” in Amsterdam on October 5, 1969 will be included on these releases.

The announcement of the Japanese physical release of “Becoming Led Zeppelin” comes despite no confirmed date having been announced for a US or UK physical release of the film. A steelbook version of the film was announced last year but has since been delayed.
