Robert Plant has recorded a song for Paul Weller’s new album, it has been announced.

Plant’s vocals and harmonica playing will feature on the track “Clive’s Song” on Weller’s new covers album Find El Dorado that will be released on July 25.

“Clive’s Song” was written by folk musician Clive Palmer who is best known as a founding member of the Incredible String Band.

The song was first recorded by Scottish musician Hamish Imlach who released his recording on his 1971 album Old Rarity.

Other guest musicians who will appear on Weller’s album include Noel Gallagher and Declan O’Rourke.
