Robert Plant kicked off his new US and Canada tour with a performance in Raleigh, North Carolina on February 9. Plant performed his usual mix of new solo material, Led Zeppelin songs, older solo material, and covers.

After the show, Plant and his band reportedly arrived at a local restaurant around 11.30pm, after it had closed. The restaurant’s staff didn’t expect to see Plant, but served him and his band food including hummus, fried cauliflower and a beet and persimmon salad. Plant and his band reportedly sang “Happy Birthday” to one of the restaurant’s owners, even though it wasn’t her birthday.
Plant then performed in Charlotte, North Carolina on February 11, and the full video of that performance has been posted to YouTube:
