Robert Plant has been interviewed for an upcoming episode of Australian TV presenter Andrew Denton’s new show “Interview” — and it looks like Plant may be interviewed on the first episode which airs on April 17.
The show hasn’t officially announced that Plant is in the first episode, but one tweet from the show’s account makes it clear that Plant’s interview is coming soon, presumably in the first episode:
One of our first guests on #InterviewAU this Tuesday is an absolute legend of rock ’n’ roll. But who is it? 🤔🤔🤔 pic.twitter.com/GHNBpfISDC

And two tweets include audio from the upcoming interview with Plant:

“What is it that makes a great rock and roll frontman?” asked Denton in the first clip. “Bloody hell. I think it’s, you know, what do they call it? Lobotomy,” replies the mystery guest, which is clearly Plant.

And the second tweet has Denton asking Plant “Is it true that Benny and Björn from ABBA once took you to a Swedish sex club?” “Absolutely. Quite regularly,” Plant replies.
The first episode of Denton’s new show airs on Australia’s Channel 7 network on April 17. The rest of the series airs every Tuesday evening.
Plant and Jimmy Page were interviewed by Denton back in February 1994, when they were promoting their album No Quarter. You can watch that interview below:
