Led Zeppelin will release a remastered version of the live album “The Song Remains The Same” on September 7.

The remastered release will be available in several different formats: 2 CD, 4 LP, Blu-ray, and a super deluxe box set with two CDs, four LPs and three DVDs.

The super deluxe box set will include a DVD of the original film, a DVD of video extras, and a third disc with a HD Stereo (96kHz/24-bit) version of the soundtrack and a DTS Master Surround Audio 5.1 mix.

The box set will also include a replica Japanese programme from 1977 and a print of the album cover, with the first 30,000 prints being numbered.

The Blu-ray release will include four songs not included in the final film, Music Tap said. The extra songs are reportedly “Celebration Day,” “Over The Hills and Far Away,” “Misty Mountain Hop,” and “The Ocean.” The super deluxe edition will also include those four clips.

This release is not the live album that Jimmy Page said would be released this year to celebrate Led Zeppelin’s fiftieth anniversary.

Page spoke to Planet Rock Magazine for its sixth issue, and Music Week published some of his comments ahead of the magazine’s release on February 16.

“I can’t give the game away,” Page said, “but there’s a recording that’s another multi-track that we’ll release. It’s so different to all the other things that are out there. It’s another view compared to How The West Was Won or The Song Remains The Same. I’m looking forward to people hearing that.”
