Jimmy Page was filmed playing ‘Stairway To Heaven’ for a new museum exhibition

Jimmy Page was filmed playing snippets of “Stairway To Heaven” for a new museum exhibition in New York.

Page recorded the video for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s “Play It Loud: Instruments of Rock & Roll” exhibition which will open on April 8.

Attendees who visited the exhibition recorded a video of Page’s playing:

It’s the first video to emerge in years of Page playing a guitar.

The video appears to be the result of Page’s two days spent inside Abbey Road Studios in London in November.

Page also gave an interview about the exhibition to the Associated Press:

And he gave a speech at the opening of the exhibition:

Some of Page’s guitars and equipment are on display in the exhibition:

Page also attended the opening of the event on April 1:

The exhibition will move to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in November 2019.
