Japanese bootleg label Empress Valley has announced that it will release part of a previously unheard soundboard recording of Led Zeppelin performing in Los Angeles in March 1975.

The exact date of the show has not yet been released, but it will be released on a single CD and titled “The Night Stalker.”

The release on a single CD means that only a portion of the full show will be released in soundboard quality at this time.

Empress Valley has told bootleg distributors that the recording originates from one of three Los Angeles Forum 1975 shows which took place on March 24, March 25 and March 27.

Audience recordings already exist of all three nights, including recordings by legendary taper Mike Millard of the three shows.

The new recording will also be released as part of a limited edition, nine-CD box set titled “The Pareidolia Paradox,” which includes audio from all three Los Angeles Forum March 1975 shows. The box set will be limited to 100 copies.

The recording is expected to be released in mid-June.

  1. Cannot wait to listen to this!

  2. Just release them all in soundboard quality and be done with it!

  3. I have heard samples of them and they’re sounding close to soundboard! I do not know completely of how they did that but it’s just awesome and quality is superb.
