“Mr. Jimmy”, the feature-length documentary film about Jimmy Page tribute artist Akio Sakurai, was released on Blu-ray on April 20, according to an email sent by the filmmakers.
Following an initial Japan-only physical release of the film on July 2, “Mr. Jimmy” is now available to order on Blu-ray through the film’s website.
The film will initially be available to ship to the UK, USA, Canada and Mexico with more countries due to be added, LedZepNews understands

The film, released in September 2023, follows Sakurai as he leaves his native Japan and attempts to make a career in the US by closely copying everything from Page’s stage presence to his clothes and instruments.
LedZepNews spoke to Sakurai and Dowd in October 2023. “My Jimmy Page quest never ends,” Sakurai told us. “The more I chase him, the more I realise I am not like him at all. He’s too cool,” he added. “I really want to become like him, but I never could be.”
