‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’ was a winner at the UK’s National Film Awards

“Becoming Led Zeppelin” won an award for best documentary / docu-series at the UK’s National Film Awards on July 1, continuing the film’s awards success following its strong box office performance.

More than 2.7 million people voted in the awards, with “Becoming Led Zeppelin” triumphing in the category over rival nominees such as “Harry Styles: One Night in Manchester”, “Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere” and “Becoming Victoria Wood”.

Director Bernard MacMahon and producer Allison McGourty attended the event in London to accept the award.

“Becoming Led Zeppelin” attracted a series of award wins and nominations following its release. Along with the success at the UK’s National Film Awards, tt was longlisted for the BAFTAswas a joint winner of best music documentary at the Critics Choice Documentary Awardswon an award at the Cinema Audio Society Awards and was nominated in the Writers Guild Awards and the American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards.
