‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’ will be released in Australia and New Zealand on February 7

“Becoming Led Zeppelin” will be released in cinemas in Australia and New Zealand on February 7.

Previously, only screenings at IMAX cinemas in the US and Canada had been announced, but LedZepNews has found that fans in Australia and New Zealand will also be able to see the film when it is released.

Like in the US and Canada, IMAX has an exclusivity deal for the film in Australia, but this time it’s only limited to the film’s aspect ratio.

The IMAX Melbourne website explains that it’s only the IMAX expanded aspect ratio of 1.9:1 that is exclusive to IMAX in the country.

Other Australian cinema chains such as Village Cinemas, Orpheum and the Avoca Beach Theatre will also screen the film starting on February 7.

Tickets for screenings in Australia go on sale on January 10.
