“Becoming Led Zeppelin” and Robert Plant were not nominated for any Grammy Awards, it was announced earlier today.
LedZepNews reported last month that the filmmakers behind “Becoming Led Zeppelin” had been publicly campaigning for the film to be nominated for Best Music Film.
However, despite bringing in an impressive $12 million at the box office, the film didn’t receive a nomination in that category.
Meanwhile, Robert Plant’s record label took out a full page print advert in Billboard Magazine to promote his track “Everybody’s Song”, among other releases.
The entire Saving Grace album was not eligibile to be nominated for a Grammy award this year as it was released on September 26, after the August 30 cutoff date for eligibility. However, “Everybody’s Song” was released as a single on July 16, meaning it could have been nominated.
Plant has won eight Grammy awards and been nominated 21 times for the awards. Plant brought in six Grammy Awards for his first album with Alison Krauss, one award for “Celebration Day” with Led Zeppelin” and one award for the 1998 Page and Plant song “Most High”.

Robert Plant has always been my idol.
Plant is one of the biggest icons of 70s Rock n Roll music, and part of the legendary band whose musical achievements forever marked an era.
The Grammy’s? Should be called Yo Gramma’s as it snubs anyone with talent and gives crap too much credit. These “Awards” just don’t AWARD anything.
Robert Plant will likely never receive squat from the critics or those who select who gets what award. It is all a big sham.
