The Japanese physical release of “Becoming Led Zeppelin” has been delayed to September 30 instead of an initial release date of March 25.
In January it was announced that Blu-ray and DVD editions of the film would be released in Japan on March 25, but that date came and went with no items being released.
Japanese music news site Amass reports that a revised release date of September 30 has been announced.
Along with the changed release date, the deluxe box set edition of the film has been changed to include a B2 fabric poster instead of a T-shirt, Amass reports.

The film will be available in several editions in Japan, including the aforementioned box set that will be limited to 3,000 copies and will contain a poster and a set of 16 postcards.
The release of “Becoming Led Zeppelin” on Blu-ray in Japan will include six minutes of bonus footage, comprising the film’s Japanese trailer and an interview with director Bernard MacMahon.
Other versions of the film’s release in Japan include a 4K UHD and Blu-ray set and a Blu-ray and DVD set.
Exclusive pre-order bonuses have also been announced for multiple retailers in Japan:
- Amazon Japan pre-orders of the limited edition box set: A set of five bromides
- Amazon Japan pre-orders of the 4K UHD and Blu-ray set: A set of three bromides
- Amazon Japan pre-orders of the Blu-ray and DVD set: One bromide
- HMV: An A4 clear file
- Tower Records: Stickers
- Movie Can: A CD jacket-style leaflet and a record-shaped fan (the same items given to people in Japan who saw the film in cinemas)
- Rakuten Books pre-orders of the limited edition box set: An A5 Chara Fine Graph with serial number
- Rakuten Books pre-orders of the 4K UHD and Blu-ray set or the Blu-ray and DVD set: A ticket holder
