Robert Plant is back on tour with his band Saving Grace, the low-profile project that he started in 2019 and has returned to following his world tour with Alison Krauss.

The band started their new tour of Ireland and Scotland with a performance in Belfast in Northern Ireland on October 25.

The show was their first live performance since they finished their most recent tour with a May 1 show in England.

Plant joked on stage during the show that he recalled playing at the Ulster Hall venue before back when he played “long songs”. Led Zeppelin performed “Stairway To Heaven” live for the first time at the venue on March 5, 1971.

Elsewhere during the show, Plant made his regular joke about coming “from the land of the ice and snow,” commented on how good it felt to be playing live again, and joked about people in the audience getting up to go the bathroom. He advised them to buy “Neil Diamond” or “Donovan” incontinence underwear.
