Robert Plant finished a show on his own after Alison Krauss left the stage

Robert Plant was forced to finish a show in Las Vegas on June 14 on his own after Alison Krauss left the stage.

The pair resumed their US and Canada tour with a performance in Las Vegas on June 14, but Krauss left the stage during “When The Levee Breaks” and never returned.

A video of the full show posted to YouTube shows Krauss and Plant speaking briefly during the song before Krauss walks off stage. Plant then finished the performance on his own and returned to the stage with the rest of the band, but without Krauss, for the encore and performed “Searching For My Love” solo.

“Searching For My Love” isn’t a staple of Plant and Krauss’ setlist and Plant’s seemingly impromptu solo performance of it as the encore in Las Vegas was only the seventh time he’s played it during a show.

Fans who attended the concert posted on social media seeking reassurances that Krauss is OK after she left the stage:

No explanation has been given for the unusual end to the show. The tour was disrupted in May when the May 9 and May 10 shows were postponed “due to circumstances beyond our control.” Those shows were rescheduled to June 27 and May 15 respectively, with the original May 15 show cancelled entirely.

EVERYTHING HAS ITS ENDING IN TIME AS DOES ROBERT PLANT.& ALLISON KRUSS. IT WAS GOOD WHILE IT LASTED IT WAS TIME FOR HER TO GO SO SHE WALKED OFF

  5. Hard to fathom that Robert would not as much as mention what the story was with Alison.
Very secretive . Probably not on purpose. Just doesn’t think it’s any of the commoners business

  6. No big loss.

Looks like the Levee indeed broke. Can’t be a whole lotta love between them. Poor Plant must’ve been dazed and confused when she walked off leaving him to go it alone.

    • Wow…no respect. If u were an artist…I imagine you would keep keeping on..until U didnt want to..not because some snot nose n0ob said u should quit.
      Phfffffttt…

  10. @Mark Williams. It’s “they’re”. You must be young and stupid

`your right there mark i would not pay any money to listen to him anymore the days of the bronze demin god are long gone now

  12. Ray & Mark: too bad you haven’t been “willing” to follow your ”bronze denim god” through his music revolution/progression. I suppose you just tire out, get bored. That’s ok…many fans do. Instead of waiting around for him to perform his LZ list…with the energy and exact style you are still craving, which in itself is wishful thinking and unrealistic, offer words of support, not snide remarks

  13. Thought they were great. Talent rules! Carry on Mr. Plant & Ms.Krauss! Hope to see you again.

  14. Hey Roy John and Mark, if you don’t have anything good to say why don’t you just not say anything, I don’t see either one of you releasing albums or recording, people like you just crack me up no respect.

  15. Right on Pam!!

  16. I love Robert with Allison Kraus and if you don’t like that kind of music, don’t bother… Let music lovers and fans buy the tix.

  17. Bless you, Pam.

just to say pam is progress hit a brick wall after 2005 mighty rearranger cheers

    • I saw Robert Plant with this band The Sensational Space Shifters just a few years ago. It was one of the best concerts I have been too. At 74 years old, I don’t expect him to perform like he was still in his 20’s. Saw George Thorogood “try” to do that and it was embarrassing and I wish I had not seen him at all. Robert Plant performs with the grace of his age and I thought he was amazing!

      • She was needed but only at the end to say good night and thanks..
anyway was a spectacular show… anyway I think they should be a couple in real life… he’s our golden god and he deserves a whole lotta love ❤️

I waited years to see them live. My husband bought tickets for the Charlotte show on the 15th May. Such a disappointment when it was cancelled with no explanation and no rescheduling only days before. Even more gutting when they played Wilmington on that night (15th).

  20. Roy…you or any other fan don’t determine what his progress is. His musical career did move forward…throughout…into what it is today. That’s change. A good thing in his career…his style isn’t supposed to s.t.a.y. as it was, otherwise it would be all about what y.o.u. want. You always have the option to accept or deny. You’ve obviously chosen. Best Wishes in the past.

  21. I was at the concert. They were both great. Alison Krauss has “Dysphonia.” On some occasions in the past her throat would close up. She was diagnosed with this condition in 2013. She would have a pain in the back of her neck–Literally. She has undergone medical treatment for this in the past. That would be my guess

Still no one knows what actually happened. Not even credible gossip!

  23. They were amazing at Glastonbury, no way ‘past it’.

  24. I had tix to the May 9 show in Asheville. It was cancelled a few hours before the show and rescheduled to June 27. Now I think that show has been totally cancelled? 🥹I no longer see it in their schedule? 😩Has anyone heard this too?

  25. Mark Williams | 18th June 2023 at 10:43 pm | Reply

I think I speak on many’s behalf to say this coupling has run its course..at least musically.
Alison – return to the ‘bearded guys’ in Union Station (as Robert called them),Robert – head back early to your homeland to undertake the ‘Saving Grace’ Italian tour…

We saw them two days later (6.17.23) in Taos, New Mexico. Alison sang every song beautifully of their wonderful 1.5 hour set including their encore and she even played some fiddle. You would have never guessed there was any problem at all between her and Robert Plant. They had a stellar band and they put on a very professional show just as you would expect from a former member of Led Zeppelin.

  27. Pam is right. Saw them the next night in Tucson and Alison was there and she and Robert put on a great show. I feel sorry for people that get stuck in one genre of music. These two showed just how versatile they are! Rock on Robert and Alison!

Kettlehouse Amphitheatre,Montana gig cancelled as short notice again last night..flu apparently.
Assuming that is Alison, she does seem to suffer from flu – European gigs cancelled last year too.

  29. Love and best wishes to All.
