Robert Plant started his new tour of the US with Saving Grace on September 18, adding a cover of “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” to the setlist.
Plant had never previously performed “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” with Saving Grace, but performed the song with them during the September 18 tour opener show in St. Louis, Missouri and then again during the second show in Kansas City, Missouri on September 19.
The song was added into the setlist as the final song before the encore on both nights.
Plant regularly played covers of the song during solo shows with previous groups such as The Sensational Space Shifters. Setlist.fm data shows that Plant hasn’t performed “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” live since October 5, 2019.
Plant has often refreshed the setlists for Saving Grace performances between tours, returning each year with new covers.
Earlier this year, when Plant started his previous US tour with Saving Grace on March 14, the band added covers of the Plant solo song “Calling to You” along with covers of the Ola Belle Reed song “Undone in Sorrow” and the traditional folk song “Ain’t No Grave” recorded by Brother Claude Ely.
In 2023, when the band started a European tour, the group added covers of the Led Zeppelin songs “The Rain Song”, “Gallows Pole”, “Friends” and “Four Sticks”.

Another tour I’ll miss, regrettably for me… Almost saw RP in Chattanooga around 20 years ago, but I had to work. I was a Chef at the Clarion Hotel, Plant was performing at Riverbend. But did stay at the Clarion.massive best wishes and good times to Rob and the band..
Plant acknowledges that without a few Zeppelin tunes, people would likely succumb to boredom.

Saw the original band in 1977, Madison Square Garden, NYC. they were there for several nights but I only saw them two nights in a row. Two great nights!!!

Robert Plant I believe is a true troubadour, he can sing anything he wants as he takes those that choose on a magical cruise of the world of song. From Honey Drippers to solo to any fellow musicians he chooses I am just thankful he crossed across my world many times thank you Mr. Plant

I’ve always been a Zeppelin fan I’ve got all their albums. Plus Robert Plants solo albums too. Everything he does turns to Gold Zeppelin changed the music for industry for all Rock Stars. And how they get paid. Thank God for LED ZEPPELIN…

THat is almost sacrilege to me. His voice just isn’t up to it anymore. Bonham is especially missed on this song.
Why? Because he can, I guess. Strange how he tries to distance himself from Zeppelin then will sing “those” songs. Again, because he can. I’m waiting for 10 years gone to appear

I was fortunate enough to see LZ live in Kansas City in 1969. At 75 seeing Robert Plant and LZ again would be a dream come true. They are still my favorite band and he still has the voice.
sorry robert even when he does zep songs it dont cut much as his voice is not the same back in 1981 i remenber seeing him at the golden lion pub fronting the honeydrippers his first outing since the over europe tour in 1980 how excited i was to see the man sounding and looking well as of 2026 that excitment as gone down to ZERO
