Robert Plant started his new tour of the US with Saving Grace on September 18, adding a cover of “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” to the setlist.

Plant had never previously performed “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” with Saving Grace, but performed the song with them during the September 18 tour opener show in St. Louis, Missouri and then again during the second show in Kansas City, Missouri on September 19.

The song was added into the setlist as the final song before the encore on both nights.

Plant regularly played covers of the song during solo shows with previous groups such as The Sensational Space Shifters. Setlist.fm data shows that Plant hasn’t performed “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” live since October 5, 2019.

Plant has often refreshed the setlists for Saving Grace performances between tours, returning each year with new covers.

Earlier this year, when Plant started his previous US tour with Saving Grace on March 14, the band added covers of the Plant solo song “Calling to You” along with covers of the Ola Belle Reed song “Undone in Sorrow” and the traditional folk song “Ain’t No Grave” recorded by Brother Claude Ely.

In 2023, when the band started a European tour, the group added covers of the Led Zeppelin songs “The Rain Song”, “Gallows Pole”, “Friends” and “Four Sticks”.
