“Saving Grace: All That Glitters… with Suzi Dian”, the vinyl EP that Robert Plant released on April 18 for Record Store Day, will receive a digital release on October 9.
The four-track EP Plant recorded with Saving Grace was limited to 3,500 physical copies when it was released earlier this year. The tracks will soon be available to purchase and stream digitally, Plant’s record label Nonesuch Records announced.
A music video for the traditional song “Two Coats” was released on September 10 to coincide with the announcement of the digital release.
The EP was originally announced in February. At the time, it was announced as including a cover of “She Cried”, which was written by Ted Daryll and Greg Richards.
Following the announcement, however, the track was cut from the EP and replaced with “Two Coats”.
Here’s the tracklist for the EP:
- The Blackest Crow (traditional)
- Orphan Girl (Gillian Welch cover)
- Two Coats (traditional)
- Poison (Bert Jansch cover)
Speaking to Record Collector magazine for its April 2026 issue, Plant hinted that he has been working on a second Saving Grace album and confirmed the four songs on this EP originate from that work.
“To be honest, the four tracks I’ve given to the project were part of the next record”, Plant told the magazine. “I thought, wait a minute, I really want to expand and show where I’ve ended up now at last. I just want people to know that everything’s not about just puffing your chest out. It’s gotta be where you say ‘Hey, listen to this. We’ve done this. It could’ve been the next project,’ and all that stuff. Instead of that, let’s just do this as a contribution to a day when we want to try and encourage people to switch on again. They are switching on more and more, so that’s good to know.”

Just love Two Coates on 1st listen
After all these years his voice is unmistakable and loving the Gaelic and Welsh genres. Just hope these songs make their way onto a long play also.
Congrats to Plant and the rest of the band. Plants music history from Led Zeppelin, his solo work and current band has inspired and encouraged fellowship and has musically touched many lifes. May Plant continue his music exploration for many more years.
Sorry, this album is garbage. I tried to listen and turned it off and have forgotten about it.
Robert plant singing country folk songs is laughable.
The version of Poison on this release is up there with the best covers Plant has ever recorded. Absolutely tremendous, a shame it hasn’t been played live with Saving Grace (having been played 10 years ago at a few Jansch tribute shows).
